An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us in the school’s journey towards ‘outstanding.’ The role of Lead Practitioner in Science will focus on driving high quality teaching and learning strategies across the Maths Faculty through coaching and developing staff, to maximise student outcomes.

Fleetwood High School has a fantastic and strong community for 11 to 16 year olds which serves the Fylde Coast; predominantly Fleetwood, Thornton and Cleveleys, Lancashire.

The school is a true comprehensive, with a wide ability range reflecting a social mix, and it has many very bright youngsters. The school sees itself as the centre of its community and works hard to involve the community in school life. 

Our central mission is to ensure that we play a significant role in removing the stubborn link between some of the social issues that our community faces and academic underperformance. Consequently, our students and our professionals are in the vanguard of a drive which seeks to prove that where teaching is excellent, leadership inspiring and behaviour standards exemplary, all children excel regardless of their background, social economic status or circumstances.
