The Governors of Peel Park Primary School are seeking to appoint a teacher in our hardworking EYFS team from September 2022.

The role will involve:


  • Teaching a Reception Class

  • Working alongside and supporting a highly committed and caring staff team.

  • Working alongside the SLT and SENDCo in supporting children with additional needs

  • Liaising with staff in terms of adapting plans to suit individual needs, feedback to staff regarding pupils and maintaining records for pupils.

  • Leading a curriculum subject area.

  • Opportunities to lead extra-curricular activities such as after school clubs.

    Essential Experience

    Recent experience of teaching in EYFS



    Planning/teaching of new EYFS Framework



    Relevant, recent CPD (safeguarding, effective pedagogy, AfL etc)


    Desirable Experience

    Minimum of two years classroom experience in the EYFS



    Teaching maths using a mastery approach



    Experience of using of Wellcomm



    Experience of leading a curriculum subject
