Information

We would like to secure an additional specialist teacher on our Outreach Team. The team provide extensive support and guidance for our mainstream colleagues in order to support children and prevent them from exclusion. 

Staff that work at our school and on our Outreach Team develop a range of skills, they need to be resilient and accept support and guidance. We aim to inspire and re-engage the most vulnerable pupils. The Committee (Governors) are supportive of the school and we work closely with other schools and professionals.  

We are very proud of our school, outreach team and pupils. We have high expectations and expect the very best for all the children in our school. We strive to provide the best education possible for our pupils re-engaging them with learning, ensuring we meet their special educational needs and enabling them to be successful. We strive to ensure the service we provide for our mainstream schools is outstanding. Therefore, we foster positive, open working relationships, provide support, guidance and challenge where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with colleagues in mainstream schools, obseve children, provide guidance, advise and support. They will review the strateiges and support programmes and report on the impact. The successful candidate will also support and deliver training. 

The school will provide a period of induction, support and enable the successful candidate to access a wide range of training in order to support them in their role.
