On behalf of the Governors of All Saints’ CE Primary School, I would like to thank you for your interest in the permanent full time position of EYFS or mixed EYFS/Year 1 class teacher at our school. All Saints’ is a happy and busy primary academy, currently catering for 272 enthusiastic children between the ages of four and eleven years.  The post will be in one of two classes/year groups in school, dependent upon the strengths of the succesfful candidate. 



We are a popular, oversubscribed school. All Saints’ is a Church of England primary academy and we hold a strong Church school ethos, with Christian values being an integral part of all that we set out to achieve. We are proud of our strong connections with All Saints’ Church.  We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, efficient, effective and passionate teacher, who will be excited to join us and who will be able to work alongside colleagues to implement our school curriculum whilst also being able to develop and introduce their own ideas and personality into our school.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who understands how children learn and who will embrace creative approaches in their teaching whilst maintaining high standards across the curriculum and in terms of behaviour. We are looking for a teacher passionate about education, with a clear understanding of the importance of effective, well-planned and well-managed lessons, to provide engaging, purposeful learning experiences for our children which promote maximum progress and attainment for all children. The post advertised is a key appointment in the continued success of our happy team, and our main aim is to find the right person to join our school.   The post is for a permanent full time main pay scale teacher who has experience of teaching in EYFS and/or EYFS/Y1. Willingness to lead an aspect of school life is essential to this post. Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher status (teaching degree or equivalent

  • Primary phase trained


Desirable Qualifications

  • Paediatric first aid


Essential Experience

  • Recent teaching in EYFS and or EYFS/Year 1 with evidence of excellent teaching

  • Experience of leading, or willingness to lead, a subject area in primary school

  • Experience of using a wide range of IT to enhance teaching and learning

  • Experience of planning for other adults in the classroom


Desirable Experience

  • Experience of delivering Read Write Inc

  • Training for delivering Read Write Inc
