Temporary Full Time Teacher to teach a KS2 class from 1st September 2022 until 31st August 2023 (initially)

Essential Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status

Practising Christian

Able to provide evidence of participation in the life of a faith community

Sound understanding of the distinctive nature of the Catholic School

Essential Experience

Teaching experience in KS2

Clear understanding of the National Curriculum and its' application in KS2

Awareness of the Professional Standards for Teachers

Clear understanding of the importance of religion within a Catholic Primary School

Desirable Experience

Initial teacher training or post-entry curriculum qualifiction in KS2

Recent participation in a range of relevant in-service training

Knowledge of a range of assessment techniques appropriate to KS2

Curriculum leadership in the primary phase
