The Governors wish to appoint an experienced, energetic, inspirational and committed Year 5/ Year 6 teacher to the staff team. This will be a permanent appointment.

Essential Qualifications

Qualified Teacher status or equivalent

 Degree/PGCE or equivalent qualifications

Desirable Qualifications

 Other educational/professional qualifications 

Essential Experience

• Evidence of providing excellent provision for all pupils achieving high standards of pupil progress


• An excellent understanding of and experience in using assessment and data management


• Experience of successful teaching in  upper Key Stage 2


• A good knowledge of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum


• Able to fully support the School’s Christian ethos (although a faith reference is not essential)

Desirable Experience

• Experience in leading one or more curriculum areas, including identifying needs, planning, monitoring and evaluations of standards 


• Experience of successfully preparing children for Y6 SATS
