Following the promotion of our Deputy Headteacher to the position of Headteacher at Ellel St. John’s Church of England Primary School, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint an ambitious, energetic and resilient professional to become our new Deputy Headteacher.

Our mission statement at Ellel St John’s is ‘Loving, living and learning in the light of Christ’ and our vision is to create a loving environment in which children thrive socially and emotionally in a stimulating environment that nurtures every child with learning at the heart of all we do. The new Deputy Headteacher will join the school community at an exciting time as we develop and embed innovative ways to shape the curriculum. Adopting a place-based approach, the new curriculum draws on children’s diverse experiences to ensure learning is relevant, engaging and memorable.
