Gillibrand Primary School is a fantastic community primary school in Chorley which currently has 209 pupils on roll. The Governors of Gillibrand Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, passionate and inspirational class teacher and SENCO for September 2022 (or sooner if possible). This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to contribute and continue to develop Gillibrand as an amazing school and have an impact on the lives of all our children.
We are looking for a SENCO who:
  • has the children and their best interests at the heart of everything they do
  • has an excellent understanding of teaching, learning and assessment and is an exceptional classroom practitioner, leading by example
  • has the resilience, self-motivation and enthusiasm to work with the head teacher and SLT to continue to provide the very best for all children including children with SEND
  • has strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • has good interpersonal skills and the ability work effectively as part of a team and also work well with a range of outside agencies

    The interview process will consist of 2 stages. If you successfully complete Stage 1 you will be taken through to Stage 2
