The Governors of Samlesbury Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent part-time Year 3/4 teacher (including one day of across school group interventions/support) to join our team. The class teacher days are Monday and Tuesday with the additional day to be a Wednesday. This post is a variable hours contract with a minimum of two days a week (0.4) but will be three days (0.6) until at least September 2023 and from then on subject to budget.
Samlebsury CE Primary School is a small voluntary aided school in a semi-rural location comprising of three mixed age classes. Each KS2 class currently has a full time teaching assistant. Our children are a delight to teach, enthusiastic and love coming to school. Our school is a place where everyone is welcome and our Christian values are at the heart of all we do and all we are.
We are looking for a teacher who:- Is an outstanding teacher with a proven record of excellent classroom practice;
- Will inspire, challenge and motivate the children to achieve their full potential;
- Can develop excellent relationships with all members of our school community
- Will undertake the responsibility of PE and another curriculum area to be agreed in the school;
- Is committed to the development of our Christian ethos.
