We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated Deputy Head Teacher to join our dedicated and aspirational Leadership Team. We are committed to continuing to raise standards in all aspects of our pupils' development. In partnership with the Head Teacher you will work with all members of our school family striving for excellence in order to provide the best outcomes for all of our children.

Barnoldswick C of E Primary School is a larger than average sized Church of England Primary School located in Barnoldswick, Lancashire. In April 2017 we had a very successful OFSTED Inspection which deemed our school to be 'Good'. In May 2017, we attained an 'Outstanding' grade for our SIAMS Inspection.

We are looking for a Leader who:

  • Has a strong faith commitment and will lead by example to continue to promote and develop a strong Christian ethos in our school.

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner who will lead by example and who shows a commitment to improving achievement for all pupils.

  • Will be an organised and effective communicator.

  • Is able to share the vision of the Head teacher, Governors and Staff for a highly successful future.
