St Mary’s RC Primary School is a friendly, warm and welcoming school, which was founded by and is part of the Catholic Church. We currently have 159 children on roll aged 4-11 and a 26-place nursery. St Mary's R.C. Primary School, a Voluntary Academy is proud to be part of Romero Catholic Academy Trust (http://romerocat.org/).
The Romero Catholic Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an inspirational and motivated teacher to undertake targeted interventions across a range of year groups, as well as providing some PPA cover to Key Stage 2. The role is part-time, 3 days a week, ideally Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. This position is required due to the maternity leave of the current postholder. The temporary position will commence Monday 1st November 2021 until July 2022 (unless the postholder decides to return earlier).
The successful candidate will be:
- supportive of a Catholic vision of education;
- a dedicated and effective teacher experienced across Key Stage 1 and 2;
- able to form positive, nurturing relationships with pupils;
- committed to raising standards;
- a good team player who is able to use their initiative and enjoys a challenge.
