From 1st January 2022, the Governing Body of the school are looking for an outstanding teacher and inspiring leader to join our team of friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking staff and governors as a Key Stage 2 leader. This will be a permanent position.

We are a caring, happy school where children are valued as individuals and provided with suitable challenge to enable them to achieve their full potential. We are looking for someone with ambition and enthusiasm who can work well within a team and can inspire and lead Key Stage 2 whilst also having a lasting, positive impact on our children. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum for learners. We can offer you children who are eager to learn and full of enthusiasm and a dedicated and welcoming team including staff, parents and governors. We would also like to offer the right candidate an exciting professional development opportunity to further develop their leadership capacity.

Briercliffe Primary School currently has 335 pupils on roll. In September 2020, the school began its expansion process and our intake increased from 45 to 60 children. This exciting process will offer the successful candidate the chance to be part of new opportunities as the school fully expands.

Proposed interview date: Tuesday 12th October 2021.
