The Governing Body of Church St Nicholas Church of England Primary School would like to invite applications from suitably qualified, outstanding, inspirational and experienced school leaders to play a pivotal role as Headteacher to lead our happy and hardworking school to further success. This is an exciting opportunity for a practising Christian who can show commitment to maintaining and developing our Outstanding Christian ethos, visions and values. The successful candidate will be equipped to not only to maintain our most recent Ofsted judgement of Good, but will play a significant role in moving our school towards Outstanding.

We are looking for a leader who:

• Has a strong Christian faith and will uphold and sustain the spiritual and caring ethos of our Church of England Primary School
• Has experience as an innovative and outstanding classroom practitioner
• Has high expectations of children's learning and behaviour
• Has knowledge and experience of assessment for learning, data analysis and rigorous self-evaluation and review practices
• Has vision, energy and enthusiasm for challenge and Growth Mindset
• Has experience in successfully leading curriculum school development
• Has a commitment to their own professional development
• Has a strong commitment to raising standards across the school
• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and is experienced in establishing and maintaining good professional relationships
