This is an exciting opportunity to become the Deputy Headteacher at St Catherine's Catholic Primary School, Leyland and help our school on the next phase of it's journey. We are looking for an inspirational and outstanding leader to help raise standards across our whole school. The Governor's would like to appoint a committed and practising Catholic who is dedicated to building an exceptional school where all children can fulfil their potential.

About St Catherine's Catholic Primary School
St Catherine's is located in Leyland, a short distance from the M6 to the South of Preston. We serve the parish of St Catherine's with the majority of our children coming from Leyland itself.

Recently the school has appointed a new Headteacher and this post offers the opportunity to create a new leadership team which can take the school on the next steps of it's journey. Our school has masses of potential. We have bright, eager children, a supportive staff and extensive grounds.

We are looking for someone who is not only an outstanding practitioner but also has the drive and skills to lead a team so as to raise standards across the whole school, for all children. We are looking for someone who can relate well to all members of the school community and through their commitment to excellence is able to lead by example.
