We want our children to be confident, happy learners who are given every chance to fulfill their potential. Our Christian ethos is at the heart of all we do and we seek to ensure that every child knows they are special and made in God's own image.

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly skilled Year 1 teacher to join our successful team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an outstanding experienced or newly qualified teacher to join our happy and inclusive school.

The successful candidate must have relevant experience of working with this age of children and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how children's learning needs are best met, particularly with regard to the potential impact the coronavirus lockdowns have had on children's early development.

The ability to inspire and motivate all pupils and challenge children to achieve highly.
A commitment to provide an exciting learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Determination, energy and high expectation of all pupils.
The desire to participate as a team player in the full life of the school.
A teacher with experience of working in Key Stage One.
Someone who will support and uphold the Christian ethos of our school.
Experience of delivering engaging and effective phonics teaching.

What we offer:
A distinctive Christian ethos that permeates everything we do.
Dedicated and committed Governors.
A strong team of friendly and supportive staff.
Effective partnerships with families and the community.
Support, mentoring and coaching for your continued professional development.
Children, staff, parents and Governors who are incredibly proud of their school.
The opportunity to make your mark at a school that is always looking to improve.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach a short lesson on the afternoon of Thursday 27th May.
