The Governing Board are seeking to appoint an experienced, resilient Headteacher with the vision and experience to lead our school forward to its next stage in school improvement journey. We absolutely want the best for our children and would like our new Headteacher to have the same passion as well as being a motivated, adaptable, energetic and strategic leader for our friendly school.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and ambitious person who has a passion for education and can inspire our lovely children in realising our school motto:
'To be the best we can be'

Our new Headteacher will:

  • Have the ability to promote and secure quality first teaching throughout school that is creative, innovative and based on research through the effective deployment of senior leadership and all staff.
  • Be an approachable and caring leader who can build excellent relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors and the wider community, always having the children's learning, attainment and well-being at the heart of every decision.
  • Have a proven strategic understanding of effective financial management and analysis.

  • A diverse school community where children develop a love of learning and respect for one another.
  • The opportunity to shape and develop your own leadership team that can guide the school through a period of transition and beyond.
  • A friendly and welcoming learning environment in a modern school building, set in spacious grounds.
  • An enthusiastic and dedicated team of teaching and support staff who worked hard to achieve a good Ofsted rating in February 2018 and who will respond positively to new ideas and strong, clear leadership.
  • Supportive parents who only want what is best for their children and the school.
  • A loyal Governing Board who are well placed and committed to supporting the school in its journey of improvement.
