Information
The Rose School caters for the needs of 68 secondary pupils, who all have an EHCP. The pupils experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties in varying degrees of severity and complexity. It is essential that our pupils have an engaging, appropriate and inspirational curriculum.

Staff are required to plan and deliver personalised learning which will encourage all pupils to fulfil their potential. We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and forward-thinking SENDco to join Senior Leadership Team and make a significant contribution to the development of the school

Essential Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators
Desirable Qualifications
Previous experience in a specialist SEMH setting
Essential Experience
Previous middle leadership experience that has had an impact on pupil achievement
Experience of leadership of curriculum planning and monitoring progress of pupils with SEMH
Desirable Experience
Experience of delivering INSET training to groups of people
Experience of successfully leading a team
Experience of managing an agreed budget
