The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher to work within the foundation stage unit. The post involves taking responsibility for the Nursery class in the morning.

In the afternoon the successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of music across the school. This will include working with small groups and teaching music to classes when covering PPA.

The successful candidate will need to be:

Ambitious, Inspiring and passionate about pupils, learning enabling them to meet their full potential.

Excellent music and EYFS subject knowledge.

Experience of working with children of a variety of ages.

Experience of working within the Foundation Stage.

Excellent adaptability skills to accompany their teaching style to suit the relevant year group.

Excellent behaviour management and organisation skills.

Be able to build quick relationships with pupils and colleagues along with having confidence in their own teaching ability.

St Thomas the Martyr CE Primary School is caring and successful, with a commitment to teamwork, creativity and continuous learning. Behaviour in school is good and the children are eager and keen to learn. This is a full time, fixed term contract until 31st August 2022.
