We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher to join our very successful and thriving Art department.
The post would be very suitable for a range of applicants, including experienced teachers, who are looking to teach higher ability students and develop their A level teaching as well as applications from well-qualified NQTs who would enjoy the opportunity to join a very supportive and successful school.
Within this role It is desirable that you can offer a range of skills including clay, textiles, photography , drawing and painting. There is also the opportunity to teach citizenship and increase the amount of teaching available if desired

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

- Good degree in Art or other relevant subject
- Teaching qualification with QTS in Secondary Art or working towards this as a trainee teacher
- Good degree in Art or other relevant subject
- Essential Experience

- Evidence of continuing professional development or relevant PGCE training
- Successful teaching record (in current school or on teaching practice at KS3, GCSE and A level Art)
- Evidence of teaching a range of media across the key stages
- Evidence of continuing professional development or relevant PGCE training
- Desirable Experience

- Knowledge of and experience in teaching GCSE and A level Art
- Subject specialism in clay or photography
- Willing to get involved and work in collaboration with other departments
- Knowledge of and experience in teaching GCSE and A level Art
