We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate teacher to join Team Reedley as a middle leader and classteacher in Upper Key Stage 2, teaching in a Year 6 class.

A confident leader who can inspire and lead a phase of teachers and support staff to ensure that Upper Key Stage 2 is productive, efficient and successful

The position is suitable for an experienced teacher who is confident enough in their own practice to lead, and support, colleagues.

The successful candidate will be part of the school leadership team and attend regular meetings to shape the strategic direction of the school.

School is split into four phases:
Early Reedley: Reception
Lower Reedley: Year 1 and Year 2
Middle Reedley: Year 3 and Year 4
Upper Reedley: Year 5 and Year 6

Each phase leader is responsible for the attainment and behaviour management of their phase.


The phase leader role includes:

Line managing teachers and support staff within the phase

Being responsible for the good running of the phase including the conduct of the pupils

Arranging interventions and clubs

Supporting teachers when liaising with parents

Disseminating key messages from leadership meetings to the members of the phase

General day to day management of the phase
