This is a great opportunity to join the aspirational teaching team of St Oswald's RC Primary & Nursery School and work with our enthusiastic children in our mixed Reception / Year 1 class. (20 Reception / 10 Year 1 children).
The Governors are looking for someone:
· who is a proven outstanding EYFS/KS1 teacher with a passion for teaching Early Years pupils
· who can effectively lead a team of committed and experienced Teaching Assistants
· who can lead on EYFS across their own class and the Nursery
· to advise SLT on EYFS matters
We are looking for someone who has clear expectations of behaviour, whilst maintaining a caring, nurturing approach.
This practitioner is also:
· committed to and able to support the school's distinctive Catholic ethos
· able to plan creatively and accurately assess pupils to ensure they know their next steps
· able to address the needs of all pupils, including more able and SEN pupils, ensuring progress for all
· able to work closely and share information with colleagues
· able to develop excellent relationships with parents, children and staff

Good Degree with QTS

Substantial experience of EYFS & KS1 (Reception/Year 1)
Recent teaching experience in Primary School
Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
Knowledge of the new EYFS framework
