We are seeking to appoint a creative motivated and highly skilled Early Years Foundation Stage teacher for our mixed Nursery and Reception class. Children join us from the age of three in the EYFS.

The successful candidate will have recent, successful experience of teaching in the early years and will be committed to ensuring outstanding provision for our children. They will be passionate about teaching and will be able to use their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to provide a highly effective curriculum.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who:

  • believes in our school and will be totally committed to raising standards and making learning fun and creative with our youngest children.

  • is an inspirational and motivational teacher who understands children and is able to nurture positive relationships with them and their families;

  • can work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, co-operation and mutual trust and support and be willing to participate in wider school life.

  • understands the importance of AfL in the classroom and its role in enabling teachers to personalise learning to meet the needs of each child so that they achieve and make maximum progress in their learning.

  • believes that they have something positive to offer to our school and our pupils;

  • has an excellent understanding of how to ensure children behave well and develop a positive attitude to learning, school and the people around them.

  • has an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment requirements

  • has an excellent understanding of how to develop an effective learning environment to maximise children's learning, both inside outdoors.
