This is an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated school team at a pivotal time in the school's journey. The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust alongside The Governors of St Anne's and St Joseph's RC Primary School are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pupil and Family Support Lead to join our already established nurture team. The main duty of the role will be to lead intervention programmes with small groups of pupils, to work with teachers in a collaborative way, to meet the social and curriculum needs of pupils, and to support pupils who may face barriers to their learning and development. We are seeking someone who is not afraid of a challenge and can support our pupils and families with compassion and determination to overcome these barriers. The role has been developed to work alongside class teachers with academic and pastoral interventions and support, as well as developing our pastoral support across school. With support from another school and experienced pastoral support, this is a fantastic chance for the right person to help develop our provision to meet the needs of our pupils and families ensuring they have what they need to be thrive and be happy.

- Has excellent communication skills
- Has the ability to work with children and their families in a sensitive and positive way

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and will have a flexible approach to the tasks they undertake. The position will be ideally suited to someone with previous experience working within a busy school environment but training and support is available for the right person with the right attitude.
