We are looking for a highly motivated, conscientious & nurturing Teaching Assistant (Level 2), to join our committed & hardworking school team. The successful applicant would be expected to work mainly 1:1 with an SEN Year 5 child, but also at times with groups of children in Y5/6 to support the class teacher and assist in meeting the personal, social and educational needs of our children. The SEN pupil has moderate learning difficulties, but is a delight to work with and requires work and instructions to be broken down to aid their understanding. The pupil does not have behavioural issues in school and is motivated when given 1:1 support.<
The successful candidate will join a school that is flourishing, with happy and motivated children and staff. This position is part time, term time only, and currently a temporary post until July 2026. However, there is scope for continuing the role as well as additional hours within school. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, pro rata.
