Summary
Were seeking a highly organised and proactive School Business Support Officer to join our outstanding two-form entry primary school. Youll be part of a hardworking, supportive team delivering excellent service to our school community.
Key Responsibilities:-
To co-ordinate school trips, including bookings and payments
Administer school clubs, music lessons, and dinners
Liaise with staff, external providers, parents, and the kitchen team
Create a weekly newsletter with the support of senior leaders
We are looking for someone who is:-
Organised, detail-focused, and confident with IT systems
A strong communicator who is calm, flexible, and approachable
Able to manage a busy workload and take initiative
Essential Experience
Experience in administrative or office support roles, ideally in an educational setting
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning school-specific IT systems
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of school office procedures and systems (desirable but not essential)

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break. This position is part time, term time + 5 days. It is important to note that the advertised salary represents the full-time equivalent. The final salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
