The Governors of Haslingden St James CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive, and highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team as a School Business & Attendance Support Officer. This unique opportunity blends front-line administrative excellence with a commitment to pupil welfare and school community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for pupils, families, and visitors—both in person and via telephone
- Create a welcoming and informative front-office environment
- Monitor daily attendance and provide timely updates to staff
- Support the administration to ensure safe school operations
- Assist with account reconciliation and organisational tasks
- Collaborate with the School Business Manager, Headteacher, SENCO and wider school teams to keep our children safe
- Promote and uphold the ethos and values of our school

Working Hours & Start Date:
- Part-time, term-time only, variable hours (Min. 20/max. 37): 32.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Mon - Fri (8:00am – 3:30pm)
- Start Date: Monday 29th September 2025 if possible (or ASAP)
