Summary

The headteacher and All Round Care committee of Newburgh C.E. Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Early Years Teaching Assistant to work alongside our hard-working and dedicated team in our Early Years Provision for children aged 3-5 years.

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner who:

will strongly commit to our Christian ethos

will support and work as part of our Early Years team

prioritise children's learning and welfare, forging strong relationships with carers and our wider community

is an inspirational and motivated Early Years practitioner who believes in our vision and is committed to raising standards, while making learning fun and creative for all

is a reflective and open to new ideas

will go the extra mile and bring something additional to the team

is a committed team player, demonstrating flexibility, co-operation and a willingness to take an active role in school life

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

Early Years Educator Level 3 (or equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications

Paediatric First Aid

Evidence of continuous professional development in Early Years

Essential Experience

Experience of working with children aged 3-5 in the Early Years Foundation Stage/ Nursery/Classroom

Experience of encouraging good behaviour

Desirable Experience

Experience of administrative work
