Summary
The Governors at St Bede’s Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide PPA cover across the school.

We are looking for a passionate professional who will:

  • Lead PE and Outdoor Learning across the school
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences in PE and a variety of curriculum areas
  • Raise the profile of sport and healthy lifestyles within the school community
  • Run forest school sessions, supporting children to regularly engage with the natural environment
  • Enhance and support the school's extra-curricular provision
  • Uphold and actively support the Catholic ethos of our school
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Inspire, motivate and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential
  • Maintain high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour
  • Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and strong leadership qualities

  • Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified HLTA status or equivalent
  • Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Level 2 coaching qualifications for sport

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Expertise in PE, Music, Spanish, Computing, or Outdoor Learning
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders
  • Outdoor First Aid

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting
  • Experience of working in primary schools
