Huncoat Primary School is a Good school and we are very proud of our recent inspection in December 2024. We are part of the LET Education Academy Trust: compromising of 4 schools in the local area, two primary schools and 2 secondary schools.
We are looking at appointing a full time Early Years Practitioner Level 6 or equivalent, to lead our successful and well established Nursery. Our Nursery has growing numbers due to our opening to 30 hours plus wrap around care in January 2024.
The team will consist of our EYFS lead: Mrs Langley/ 2 TA3s/ 1 TA2 and our new Early Years Practitioner.
We are looking for:
- A successful candidate who loves the Early Years and passionate about young children/ is knowledgeable about Development Matters and how 3-5 year olds progress, develop and learn
- Someone with a caring/ nurturing approach to our youngest children
- A candidate who establishes good routines straight away with our children
- A team player who enjoys working with our established EYFS team
- Someone who is forward thinking in new ideas and wishes to self-develop themselves
