Summary
The children, staff and Governors at Arkholme Church of England Primary School are now seeking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to support the care, learning and development of our pupils.

We have a highly talented and committed team who are passionate about raising pupil achievement and offer an engaging and challenging curriculum for all, in a friendly, safe, and caring community.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
  • Is highly motivated and able to inspire children through one to one and small group intervention work.

  • Is flexible and has experience of working with children across KS1 and KS2

  • Is able to nurture, support and develop all children to ensure they achieve their full potential.

  • Is approachable on both a personal and professional level

  • Is able to recognise and develop the importance of strong links between home and school

  • Is an excellent practitioner and role model

    Essential Qualifications
    NVQ Level 2 or above qualification - appropriate to the post

    Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age

    Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
    Experience of administrative work
