We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative, successful and hardworking IT Manager. The successful candidate will be an outstanding team player and have outstanding technical expertise in the field of IT with the ability to work as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved for all the pupils at Worden. The successful candidate should have the motivation to further shape and design the network as well as having an excellent working knowledge of Storage Area Networks, Cisco switches and VM Ware.
Worden is a comprehensive Converter Academy that has a proven track record of sustained improvement and growth. In January 2025 the school underwent a successful, graded inspection. Neil Johnson, OI, confirmed that Academy@Worden continues to be a good school. He also highlighted ‘The school has designed a broad and ambitious curriculum. It has thought carefully about the knowledge that pupils should learn. The curriculum is ordered sensibly to ensure that pupils have the prior knowledge to learn successfully. Teachers deliver the curriculum clearly using their secure subject knowledge. Typically, teachers use activities that ensure pupils know and remember more.
Teachers check what pupils have learned effectively through a range of strategies. Consequently, they have an accurate view of what pupils know and can do before moving on to new learning. ’
The behaviour and attitude of students at Worden is excellent and potential candidates are welcome to visit the school and see us at work.
