Larches High School is looking to recruit a Family Support Worker to join our very successful team and provide focused support to families with complex needs.  If you are resilient, flexible and confident working in a busy environment, able to communicate effectively and skilled at building relationships with both adults and young people we would welcome your application.

Larches High School is an alternative provision school which provides full time education for pupils educated outside of the mainstream.  We have an inclusive philosophy and believe passionately in ensuring that all pupils are given opportunities, skills, knowledge and qualifications to ensure that they can succeed.  We recognise that our pupils are individuals and that ‘one size does not fit all’.  We also appreciate that many of our families have not had a positive experience of education and we believe it is our role to re-engage and empower them, improve relationships and broaden their experiences.

Working hours are fulltime 8.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday, term time only + 1 week.  Please note the salary quoted is annual fulltime equivalent and if successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
