Summary
Fulwood & Cadley Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Special Support Assistant) to work 28.35 hours per week to provide support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community, making a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored one-to-one & small group support for children with SEND, ensuring their educational, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised learning strategies and intervention plans.
  • Support children in accessing the curriculum and developing independence in learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and assessments.

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a one-to-one/small group setting.
  • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and supporting the school’s values.
