The Governors of Fishwick Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant from June 2025 or as soon as possible after that date.

We need to appoint a friendly and highly motivated SEND Teaching Assistant, who will work with our SENDCo and SEND Teacher to support our most complex children.  The successful candidate will join the team, clssteacher and TA, in our SEND Hub which currently supports 6 children.

Fishwick is situated in East Preston, with good links to the M6. The area in which our school is set is characterised by a relatively high level of social-economic deprivation, but we work hard to actively create a warm, happy atmosphere that ensures our children and families feel secure, welcome and supported.

The successful candidate will be resilient, confident, able to communicate effectively, able to work calmly under pressure and have the ability to relate to both children and adults.

This position is term time only. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
