Summary
At Stanah, we embody our school motto: Work Hard, Be Kind! We are looking for a School Business Support Officer to join our team!

The successful candidate will be based in our busy office at the heart of our school. You would be the first point of contact within school and will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and ICT skills alongside an ability to work closely with staff, children and the wider school community.

This role will, at times, involve working under pressure and within tight timescales. You must be able to manage your own time and workload and respond to the needs of the pupils, visitors and headteacher whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Duties will primarily involve:

·  Answering phones
·  Responding to parent enquiries
·  Maintaining the attendance registers and clarifying reasons for absence
·  Liaising with parents
·  Inputting information into ParentPay including setting up payment items
·  Managing income and expenditure including debt recovery

The position will also include routine clerical/administrative support as detailed on the attached role profile. Previous experience of working in a school is preferable although full training will be provided.

This position is term-time only. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
