We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and keen individual, who has high standards and expectations to support our children and families to ensure they attend and arrive on time, to school, on a daily basis.
The appointed person will:
- Follow up the lack of response to first day contact and other contacts by carrying out home visits or meeting parents/carers in school.
- Have high expectations of attendance and punctuality.
- Support families and pupils to improve attendance and/or punctuality.
- Work with external professionals and agencies, if needed.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to provide and create attendance reports, so that data can be analysed.
- To arrange follow up meetings with parents/carers, where appropriate and to provide the relevant senior leader (Lead for attendance) with the information.

- Essential Qualifications

GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Desirable Qualifications

Worked in a school before.
Has knowledge and the use of SIMS.
- Essential Experience

Willingness to undertake home visits.
Full driving license and use of a car.

Previous experience of dealing with attendance.
