Stonegate School is an Ofsted rated good school, and it supports up to 10 girls aged 11-16. This School is in a rather remote idyllic location and it is highly likely you would need to have access to a car for this role. This school is a 25–30-minute drive (15 miles) from the Centre of Lancaster.

We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant/higher level teaching assistant is essential, and experience of supporting SEMH people or working in a secondary school is advantageous for this role. If you enjoy working with small pupil numbers, supporting with a mixture of academic and practical/vocational subjects and have share a passion for supporting young people we want to hear from you!
We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant with a strong understanding of learners with additional needs who require a tailored and bespoke approach to education.

The successful post-holder will have the passion and vision to develop and deliver high quality education. The school will work in close partnership with other professionals to provide a holistic package of support which may also include children living in care and accessing therapeutic support.
