Summary
Level 3 Early Years Pre-School Room Leader Required

We are excited to be opening our brand-new Pre School at Rishton Methodist School and we are looking for a special person to be our Room Leader for the 16 place setting.   The successful candidate will be working very closely with our current school EYFS Leader. This is a rare, and unique role, working in a dynamic and supportive school environment. We have highly motivated and aspirational school staff, who truly want the best for every single child. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and learning support to children aged 3-5 years
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development both outdoors and indoors.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff

    What We're Looking For: (Please also see separate person specification)

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of EYFS
  • Passion for working with children and helping them develop to their full potential
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent attendance at work record
  • Flexible , motivated and calm approach.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding.
  • Leadership experience within a nursery setting.
