We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Additional Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- a passion for working with pupils with Additional Needs and a commitment to helping them succeed
- a deep understanding of the needs of ASD children
- expertise in communication and interaction skills and experience in supporting young children with ASD with these skills
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to children with ASD in the classroom
- Assisting teachers in adapting lesson plans to meet the individual needs of SEN pupils
- Assistance with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and dressing
- Developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for SEN pupils
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of SEN pupils and providing regular feedback to teachers
- Building positive relationships to provide a comprehensive support network for SEN pupils
