Teaching Assistant and Welfare Assistant required Monday 3rd March or asap thereafter. The hours per week will be as follows
Teaching Assistant Monday to Friday 8.45 to 12.00 and 1.00 to 3.00 (26.25 hours per week)
Welfare Assistant 30 mins between the times of 12.00 and 1.00(this will vary depending on need 2.5 hours per week)
Lunchtime break will be 30 minutes between the hours of 12.00 and 1.00 (this will vary depending on need and is unpaid)
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups. The successful candidate will monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher. Positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers are essential for this role. Dependending on experience the successful candidate may be be requested to provide short term cover for classes when a class teacher is unexpectedly unavailable (pay for such hours will be amended accordingly).
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis. The post is a permanent variable hours contract with a minimum of 10 hours.

- NVQ level 2 or above qualification
- Teaching Assistant level 2 or above qualification – appropriate to the post
- Relevant qualifications in English and Maths such as GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent

- A proven ability in supporting learning and teaching of pupils in KS1 or KS2
- Supporting children's emotional health and well being.
