The children, staff and Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent Nursery Practitioner (4 days a week but may consider part time) to join our fantastic EYFS team in February 2025. Our Nursery will be relocating into a brand new bespoke building in the coming weeks. MAY CONSIDER PART TIME POST.
We are looking for somebody who:- is supportive of the Catholic nature of our school
- is passionate about learning and teaching in the Early Years
- has high expectations of themselves and of our children
- works well as part of a team and is able to bring a new dimension to our already successful staffing structure
- is willing to be involved in the wider life of the school and community.

- Essential Qualifications

- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grade C/4 in Maths and English
- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grade C/4 in Maths and English
- Desirable Qualifications

- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) assessment, observation, planning and training
- Full and relevant minimum level 3 Early Years Child Development qualification
- Paediatric First aid training
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training undertaken and a willingness to update training regularly
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) assessment, observation, planning and training
- Essential Experience

- Desirable Experience

- At least three years of Nursery experience in an EYFS environment
- Experience monitoring and recording a child’s development
- Experience working alongside a senior leadership team to develop the quality of the curriculum and learning activities
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND, and pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Room Leader experience within a Nursery setting
- At least three years of Nursery experience in an EYFS environment
