We are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work in Agape (SEMH unit). The position is temporary with potential for longer term contract. We are seeking a dedicated Special Education, Mental Health Teaching Assistant (SEMH TA) to join our passionate team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students. Some of these children have complex SEMH difficulties; therefore may display challenging behaviours.
The successful candidate must be strong and resilient in order to be a good role model for the children at the school As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
This position is term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

- Experience and expertise with children with SEMH
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs in a school setting
