We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2B (Grade 5) whose main role will be class based and someone with lots of energy while being flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative; There will also be some short periods each day working with individuals on EHCP targets or those needing specific support. It is expected that the successful candidate will initially work in EYFS.
The successful candidate will be generally assisting the class teacher, as time and need allows, developing positive relationships with pupils and helping children to maximise their learning. It is essential that the candidates have experience of working with children who have special educational needs, along with being able to demonstrate expertise, knowledge and skills to support children with challenging behaviour and/or speech and language needs.

- Previous experience in EYFS or working with SEND children on a 1:1 basis is desirable.
