Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our ambitious Good school. The Governors and Head Teacher would like to appoint a highly organised, flexible, reliable person to work in our busy office. The post holder will have excellent communication skills and good knowledge of school office management systems. A key aspect of this role is to ensure the smooth running of financial processes for ordering and invoicing and maintaining payments.

Experience of operating the following school’s digital platforms would be desirable: SIMS (pupil register and attendance database); FMS (school financial system). Knowledge of these digital platforms is seen as desirable but not fully essential. Another key role will be to maintain the school’s Single Central Record of pre-appointment safeguarding checks.

You will be the first point of call when people enter the school, dealing with enquiries from parents and visitors.

The role is term time only and the hours of work are 8.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Required for the start of the new school academic year (September 2024). The successful candidate will be working in a primary school setting, providing reception duties and general clerical, administrative and financial support to the school.

This position is part time/term time only, please note that the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary would be paid on a pro rata basis.
