Summary
St Michael and All Angels C of E Primary VA School, a renowned Church of England primary school located in the heart of Foulridge, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional team. Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant Salary: Grade 5 (pro-rata for 5 days per week, 25 hours) At St Michael and All Angels C of E Primary VA School, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated teaching staff and helping our children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Support individual pupils or small groups with their academic and personal development
  • Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver effective lessons
  • Help to maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and values of the school

    Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably within a primary school
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young lives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
