Summary
The Loyne Specialist School is an incredibly successful special school rated by Ofsted as Outstanding for five consecutive inspections. We are a highly specialist school with a passion for providing the very best education to children and young people from the ages of 4 to 19.  All of our young people have learning difficulties, some learners also have physical and sensory impairments.  We also have an onsite independent Post 19-25 provision, ' Grizedale Centre' that offers adult placements to some leavers from the Loyne School.

We are now seeking to recruit 3 enthusiastic, caring and committed Welfare Assistants to join our welcoming team. We are searching for people with a positive work ethos and a passion for working with children and young people with special needs and disabilities. 

The role involves feeding, supervision at lunch time (including play supervision), toileting and attending to the personal care and hygiene needs of our children and young adults. In addition, other duties that are commensurate to the grade of the role to support pupils and the class team will be directed by the teacher. 

The hours of work are Monday to Friday during term time from 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
