The Governors are seeking to appoint a calm, positive and nurturing person to lead on day to day family support and deliver pastoral interventions to identified children. This role will include liaising with the Head teacher, Deputy headteacher and class teachers.
We have a dedicated office for our family support worker with a family room attached. Experience of supporting families is essential, training to deliver interventions can be organised. Start time will be 8am, to finish at 4.30pm however, there may need to be some flexibility to meet the needs of our children and their families. A clean driving license is essential as you may accompany parents to meetings and will be expected to attend meetings. Training will also be organised for the role of Designated safeguarding lead.
Visits to the school are welcomed.
