We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher/Leader to join our team to build on our existing strengths and achievements, who has a commitment to Christian education and the Christian ethos of the school, and is a highly motivated, dynamic and caring individual. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children to ensure every child has the best chance possible.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about developing and inspiring both the children and adults in the setting with an excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework, Development Matters and Birth to Five documents. They will be able to communicate clearly with colleagues to inspire the highest expectations across both the Nursery and Reception classes.
We are looking for an EYFS Teacher and Leader who can:
Provide a creative, stimulating, well considered and inspiring learning environment for all children regardless of ability
- Provide pastoral care and support to children within a caring and supportive learning environment
- Help children develop curiosity and knowledge with a focus on communication and language to ensure strong foundations are the norm.
- Observe, assess and record each child's progress and provide regular updates for parents.
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of all our children in collaboration with all staff in the team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote collaboration.
- Work closely with the Nursery and Reception team to ensure consistent and high quality provision is maintained each day.
- Lead and manage by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education and childcare.
- Display a positive attitude towards learning and professional development which enhances the knowledge and skills of all members of the team.
- Ensure that the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities.
- Maintain a clean, organised and creative environment for both indoor and outdoor learning.
