Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire Teaching Agency – the official supply service for Lancashire County Council, is seeking an experienced Year 4 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Accrington.

About the Role:
This is a full-time maternity cover role starting in January 2026, with responsibilities including:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 (Year 4) pupils
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress in line with national curriculum standards
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment<
- Working closely with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching in KS2 is required – ECTs are not eligible for this role
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to differentiate and support pupils with EAL needs
