The governors of Bretherton Endowed CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an aspirational headteacher to provide us with outstanding leadership as our school takes the next step into its future. We are a small, rural school with a history of success and inspiration, focusing on each child’s individual learning needs and achievement of their full potential. With prior experience of a leadership role, our new headteacher will be hardworking and able to inspire and motivate our whole school family, leading with integrity and innovation to ensure the development and wellbeing of all of our pupils. The successful candidate will share our ambition for school and be an excellent communicator, role model, strategic thinker, and inspirational leader who values and champions the contributions of all stakeholders and is committed to the school’s Christian mission of ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’
Governors are seeking someone who:- Is committed to safeguarding and the welfare and wellbeing of children and staff.
- Will embrace and champion our Christian ethos.
- Will have a strong commitment to working in partnership with parents, teachers, our churches and community.
- Will strive to ensure all children are able to achieve their full potential, academically, spiritually and socially.
- Is an excellent role model and teaching practitioner who is committed to excellence and the development of learning (the post is likely to include a teaching commitment).
